And just for some fun here are a couple of facts about Mothers Day.

Mothers Day was orginally started in America in 1904 by Anna Jarvis who held a memorial for her mother. She then began a campaign to make “Mother’s Day” a recognized holiday in the United States. She was successful in 1914, but was soon disappointed with its commercialization by the 1920s. Jarvis’ holiday was adopted by other countries and it is now celebrated all over the world. In this tradition, each person offers a gift, card, or remembrance toward their mothers, grandmothers, and/ or maternal figure on mother’s day.

In the UK Mothering Sunday is always the 4th Sunday in Lent, around the world mothering Sunday is held on different dates.

Mothers Day is the third biggest day of the year for sending cards.

There are more phone calls made on Mothers Day than any other day of the year!!

We are looking for people who would like to test drive our New Lip Balm Pendant that we will be adding to our Esme range soon.

The pendant is filled with a natural lip balm which is made up of Beeswax, Apricot Kernel, Casor Oil, Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter and delicately fragranced with coconut oil.

Its a gorgeous natural lip balm that will keep your lips super moisturised and soft.

The lip balm pendant is easy to use and very convenient, just open the pendant and apply your lip balm as needed throughout your day.

If you would like to be one of our final testers please drop us an email and we’ll get one sent out to you.  All we ask you to do is use the product as much as possible and then let us have your opinions and views by email or post. The pendant will then be yours to keep.

Pantone has officially named Emerald as its colour of 2013.  It’s a radiant and strong colour that promotes harmony and well being.  I love it and will adding a splash of it into our office, I have my eye on a Emerald green bracelet and a few accessories.

This year we will be adding a some new accessories, starting with our Lip Balm Pendant and an exciting range of scarves.  We always try and bring the Pantone colour in, last year we added our Zoey Perfume Pendant as Tangerine was the Pantone colour of 2012.

We’ll update you soon on our new colours for 2013 which will have a few splash of Emerald in but I’m sure you’ll see plenty of Emerald colour around in the shops and online.
